Responsibilities and Tasks:

Aim:

Function:

  1. Monitor implementation of improvement measures during pre- & after-berthing

    -  Monitor & ensure vessel arrival, berthing processes within target durations on site
    -  Discuss deviations and quick fixes with Terminal (real-time)
    -  Identify further improvement measures and ensure transfer of ideas towards Area/ Regional Ops Mgmt. and Terminal Control Tower
  2. Monitor implementation of improvement measures during terminal operations

    -  Monitor & ensure crane availability and performance align with expectation (stowage provided)
    -  Discuss deviations and quick fixes with Terminal (real-time)
    -  Identify further improvement measures and ensure transfer of ideas towards Area/ Regional Ops Mgmt. and Terminal Control Tower
  3. Conduct regular reviews of overall action plans from terminal partnering projects:

    -  Discuss implementation of improvement measures with Terminal Management consolidatedly, based on actual experience and feedback from Terminal Control Tower
    -  Ensure definition and implementation of corrective measures with terminal operators in case of uncorrected discrepancies
    -  Provide feedback from frequent interaction towards Area/ Regional Ops Mgmt. and Terminal Control Tower
    -  Ensure that measures with internal responsibility are being transferred into the HL organization
  4. Identify opportunities for schedule/ vessel space optimization (add. Empties or full handlings)

    -  Plan and decide on loading of additional units in direct alignment with terminals and internal stakeholders (e.g. slot control)
