For our location in Hamburg we are looking for a
Working Student (m/f/d) Data Analytics - Business Intelligence - Data Science
Responsibilities and Tasks:As part of our Digital Business Transformation team, you will play a role in the continuous development of our digital products by analyzing our digital channels and product usage, in order to identify trends and opportunities for improved customer growth and customer relationship.
- Setup, maintenance and optimization of regular reports and dashboards
- Data analysis and interpretation in order to gain insights in the field of Customer Growth, Digital Marketing and Product Development
- Support in database design and BI projects
- Support in the setup and implementation of advanced analytic projects (Machine Learning / Data Science), e.g. for prediction of customer behavior
- Support and Training of colleagues on Data Analytics / Data Science
- Support the team in day-to-day business
Requirements and Qualifications:
- You are matriculated in a fulltime course of study with the specialization in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar ‘data literate’ course of study
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel, knowledge of VBA is an advantage
- Knowledge of BI architecture (e.g. Qlik) and / or relational data bases / SQL
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, knowledge of Machine Learning Frameworks / Python / R / TensorFlow is an advantage
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- You are fluent in English (both verbal and written)
Good to know:
- You start with us as soon as possible and work approx. 20 hours per week
- During the semester break, you can increase your hours up to 38 hours
- We are currently planning your assignment for 6 months with the option of an extension and will also take your course of studies into account.
