Customer Service Booking Coordinator - Area North (m/f)
Responsibilities and Tasks:- Handling Customer phone calls
- Handling cases correspondence with customer
- Acting as point of entry on potential claim requests
- Handling booking inquiries as per customer’s request
- Handling booking amendments received via Email
- Processing change of destination
- Handling shipment related exceptions
- Verifying transport exceptions and bill additional costs / fees to customer where applicable. Addresses all necessary communication
- Acting as point of entry related to VGM exceptions
- Following all the necessary procedures for Special cargo approval
- Following up transshipment
- Building Expertise in all topics related to Export Booking
- Following standard processes and new requirements as communicated by management
- Completing all functional HIP trainings timely
- Performing other duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Very good command of written and spoken English (must)
- Comprehensive experience in the liner shipping business including container logistics and haulage
- University degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude
- The ability to work under pressure in fast changing environment
- The ability to work well with others and follow guidelines
- Comprehensive and working knowledge of MS Office
