Area North Hapag-Lloyd consists of offices in: Poland, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
Agent representation in: Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Iceland.

Resonsibilities and Tasks
We can offer you a positon in a newly established diversified Hapag-Lloyd Area covering 10 countries with a mixture
of own offices and agencies. The office has recently been moved to new modern premises at Alchemia in Gdansk,
hosting other international companies and providing an agile international environment, which fits well to the HapagLloyd strategy. You would report directly to the Sales Manager located and Gdańsk and cooperate with two other
Colleagues within the Agency Pricing Team.
Your role would be to coordinate and support Agents’ activities in their representation of Hapag-Lloyd in local markets
(Russia, Baltic States, Norway and Iceland). Hapag Lloyd has not its own office set up in mentioned countries, yet
the markets are very important for us and require quick and proactive approach from the Agency Pricing Team.
Your main tasks will be:
- Supporting the local Agents in pricing
- Proactively instructing Agents about new markets/ strategies and tools
- Seeking market information and developing possibilities
- Validating the quotations / Rate Agreements prepared by local Agents
- Attending weekly Sales Team Meetings
- Conducting day-to-day Trade Management talks
- Retrieving missing rates/ revenues
Requirements and Qualifications:
- University degree (Shipping, Maritime Organization of Seaborne Trade, Foreign Trade, Logistics or similar).
- Comprehensive experience in the liner shipping business
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Very good time management skills
- Ability to work under the time pressure
- Team player values
- Comprehensive knowledge of user application systems (CRM, MS Office)
