Within the department Business Administration, the Controlling team is responsible for calculating results for the Northern Europe region (Area Germany and Central Europe, Area France, Area UK, Ireland and Area North, including Poland and Scandinavia). The controlling team develops guidelines and directives and harmonizes these with their colleagues from Northern Europe. Located at our global Headquarter in Hamburg we seek for a
Controlling Manager (m/f/d) Region North Europe
Responsibilities and Tasks:- Preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly results, quarterly forecasts and annual budget planning
- Evaluation, analysis and reporting on provisions for the monthly closing and continuous monitoring of account balance for the current year and the previous year
- Regular monitoring of cost and revenue development and coordination with the areas/country organizations or regional/central departments
- Designing, preparing and consolidating monthly regional and area key figures to support the company's business management
- Preparation of the basis for discussion (PowerPoint) for meetings between regional management and the board of directors
- Continuous review of the processes and procedures in the area of responsibility in order to be able to make improvements in quality and efficiency
- Contribute to the implementation and training of new controlling systems and concepts within the Northern Europe region, this includes the development of guidelines, face-to-face trainings and e-training
- Participation in projects at departmental, regional or global level
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance / controlling, or completed vocational training in business administration with corresponding work experience
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills as well as a number and results-oriented approach
- Experienced in working with IT systems and tools, SAP user knowledge as well as advanced knowledge in working with MS Excel and QlikView
- Strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels (including senior management)
- Good command of PowerPoint, good presentation skills will be a plus
- Very Good command of spoken and written English
