To ensure seamless handling of containers along the transport chain Hapag-Lloyd uses a self-developed Carrier Customs handling system, which is highly integrated into our operational IT systems. Our applications combine information from all the customer transports, predict equipment flows, transport volumes and interact with vendor systems. We provide decision support and achieve a high degree of automation in steering and dispatching equipment, inland transportation and port operations.
