From Hamburg to Sydney, from Durban to Rio de Janeiro: as one of the world's leading liner shipping companies, each year we ship millions of containers from and to all regions of the world. "Number one for quality" is our promise to our customers and an attribute with which we want to distinguish ourselves clearly from our competitors. Join us on this journey. We look forward to meeting you and we will soon say: Welcome on board!
To always ensure the best possible deployment of our vessels (owned, charter, new build, etc.) and to optimize the costs of fleet deployment across all services of Hapag-Lloyd, the newly established team "Fleet Strategy" is looking for a new member. The optimization of the current deployment as well as the development and scrutinizing of alternative scenarios are strongly driven by financial aspects, which need to be understood and analyzed. This requires the development of tools, databases and relevant systems to shape the deployment of the fleet while keeping track of these effects. You will align closely with your team colleagues on longer term planning/strategy and the respective service controllers, as well as with the operational teams within the network department. Your results will be used for budget/forecast planning.
