For our location in Kuala Lumpur we are looking for a
Sales Coordination (SCN)
Responsibilities and Tasks:- Delivers quality support to Sales Execution and Sales Steering team with the aim to ‘make it work’.
- Preparing and sending of Quick Quotes, follow up with customers after the quotations.
- Coordinating with Trade Management for rate agreement and service contract proposals and special rate offers.
- Maintaining contracts and rate agreements, including filing, publishing of rates, service contracts and amendments with FMC (US Shipment).
- Assist in Bid/tender management and co-ordination.
- Customer management, which includes inter-departmental coordination for various matter involving customers’ requests, requirement and disputes.
- Clear customer handover to Customer Service and assist Customer Service with problem solving in regards to rates / revenues where needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Global Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of similar working capacity of sales management or customer relationship management in liner shipping/ transportation industry.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to develop good relationships across all levels.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and fast-paced individual with ability to work under pressure.
- Computer literate and have ability to pick-up on system processes and procedure.
- Willing to travel when necessary for client meeting or site visit (5-10% travelling)
