For our location in Gdansk we are looking for a
Senior Dangerous Goods Coordinator
Responsibilities and Tasks:We are looking for a Senior Coordinator of Dangerous Goods who will work with us in our Knowledge Center in Gdansk. You will be working side by side with experts in a modern office space – innovating and developing state-of-the-art technology solutions that will enable us to connect the world across the oceans even faster in the future. You will work in three shift times, which change every month - early (6-14), normal and late (14-22).
The primary responsibilities include:
- Processing of transport requests for dangerous goods pursuant to process standards
- Approval of dangerous goods transports for intermodal transport
- Application of dangerous goods bookings for partner lines
- Correspondence with internal and external contacts (in English)
- Verification of compliance with transport regulations of dangerous goods
- Process loading/transit/purge clearance
- Preparation of congestion/separation notes
- Close cooperation with the Dangerous Goods Managers within the Regions
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Practical experience in the transport of dangerous goods
- Basic knowledge of IMDG codes and other dangerous goods regulations preferred
- Responsible and detail-oriented working method with the ability to work accurately even under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- Team spirit and commitment
- Motivation to improve and learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- IT skills (especially MS-Outlook)
